Math 0987 and 0989 Courses – No longer offered at the college
Math 0987 and 0989 are learning support courses that were offered to students who needed some remediation on their math skills prior to starting their college-level math courses. The state of GA has moved to the corequisite model to remediate students while they are concurrently enrolled in their college-level math course. These courses are Math 0997 (Support for Quantitative Reasoning) and Math 0999 (Support for College Algebra). Placement in these courses is based on ACCUPLACER Math test scores or SAT/ACT scores.
