Welcome to my academic website! I am Arezoo Bayat Barooni, a doctoral student in Rhetoric and Composition at Georgia State University. My passion lies in teaching first-year English courses that emphasize Multimodal Composition and Digital Literacy.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, I strive to foster creativity, inclusion, and active participation in the classroom, equipping students with the tools to become confident writers and critical thinkers. My goal is to create an engaging learning environment through innovative course materials that integrate technology, group discussions, and collaborative projects.
Beyond teaching, I am an active researcher exploring Data Visualization, Digital Rhetoric, and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. My research and teaching are driven by a commitment to fostering inclusive communication and amplifying diverse narratives.
