The digital Environment I chose was Atlanta.ga.gov. The home screen brings you to an overview of the entire website that contains many different tabs so that the user can navigate to where their interest lie. In big bold letters te page says City of Atlanta and has tabs that say Home, Government, Residents, Visitors, Doing Business, Newsroom, and How do i…  All the way to the right is the mayor’s message that states how its a new year and season and people should be ready for new beginnings.  The signup today image is a hot link that brings you to a page that lets you sign up for notifications about things in atlanta. This homepage is very useful for anyone visiting or livving in atlanta that want to get knowledge on whats going on with the city.

IMG_0126The visitors tab is a tab that brings you to the page that links the user to the Things to do, the History, the parks and recreation, transportaion, eductaion, and atlanta convention and visitors bureau sections of the website. The website is very easy to navgate if you are new to it and know exactly what you are using the website for. the information easy to access and the links are clear cut.

After clicking parks and Recreation the website pulls up many links that leads the user to either Atlanta parks, Community centers and event spaces, Farmers markets and community Gardens, dogs in the park, and multi use trails. Each subheading has links that lets the viewer get more infomration on what they were looking for. To the left of the page it states a fact about atlanta and how they maintain over 3,000 acres of parkland and operates 33 recreational centers. This part of the website is great for people that want to get the best out of the natural parks that atlanta has to offer.

After clicking the first link on the homescreen it takes you to another subwebsite of atlanta. The Link brings you to atlanta.downtown.ga.gov. This part of the website is mainly about downtown and the benefits of being there. It shows two people that look very happy heading somewhere. In the bacvkground you can see very nice cars that are parked on the side of the road. At the top of the page it has links to help anyone trying to do just about anything there is downtown. This website seems more catored to people that either live downatown or are visiting.
