Over-View OF Building

Piedmont North, located on 175 Piedmont Ave in Atlanta, Ga is a student housing residence for Georgia state Freshman. This residence housing only houses freshman and Is one of the two Freshman housing options for only freshman housing.The hosuing colors is realy made up of blue, tan and  brown. The whole building is very welcoming because of the way that it takes away from the exterrior environment that you have to get into the building. Costing in around $4,000 a semester for a room with 2-3 people sharing a single room. Also housing comes with a required  a meal plan for access to the dining hall downstairs.

The People That Occupy The Building

The whole building is pretty much full of students; however, its not really that crowded as in lack of space unless there is an event going on.   The site is used mainly by students but we have Maintanence people come in and out the building frequently. The RA’s and SA’s are at the desk to greet you as soon as you walk into the piedmont north lobby. Students can check in their friends and family if they want to, so Some non-residence comes into the building sometimes.

Interior And Its Effects

The inside of the building as in the layout is really designed to promote socializing. There are 3 and a half lougnes in the building that inlcudes Tvs where most people are watching movies and/or playing video games. This building is a building i can consider home; Howver, if you dont have discipline, the building and everyone in it willl be a huge distraction and an unproductive environmnet. The rooms are all next to each other and with access to the whole building, its very easy to go into someones room and socialize. Time can fly really quickly when socializing at piedmont because of how many peoplle there are there. Most people stay in the dining halls and and the lounges.  the interior Environent can have many different effects on different people. Only the students that are strong willled and can put time aside to do their work will be abel to prosper in this building.
