On Election Day, there will be a lot of options to vote on, not only on a national level for President, but for the state and local elections as well. In terms of the state elections, there will be the possibility to vote for the District 40 Senate position, as well as for candidates for the Georgia Public Service Commission. On the local level, there is not a wide array of things to vote for. The only position available at this time is for the Georgia Traffic Division. One interesting point about this is that many of the candidates are incumbent, meaning that they are already holding office. For me, these other positions have not registered on my radar. Being someone who is not that interested in politics, I have mainly focused on the presidential nominees and focusing on their platforms. I will have to look more into the other positions that have nominees so that I have a better understanding of the possible ways that I can influence my area.
