This sign is one of the first items that you will see walking into the land trust. The welcoming sign gives us a tiny glimpse of the land trust’s history, by letting us know that this area was founded in 1986. We also see that it is a place for families, since the handprints made on each side of the sign are those of children. The warm, happy colors of the sign and the building that it is posted add to the calming atmosphere of this area.
