Towards the end of our adventure, my boyfriend and I ran into a man who frequents the park and he began telling us all about the park and the curator of Dolls Head (Joel). We never caught his name, but he was an extremely nice fellow who told us not only about Dolls Head, but also about the homeless shelter that was built back behind the trail. It’s tucked into the woods, just shy of the railroad tracks. The photograph here is actually of the man we met’s Pitbull mix, Lilly, who was my favorite part of the trip.
