Dr. Zhicheng Jin is currently an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Georgia State University. He completed his postdoctoral studies with Prof. Jesse V. Jokerst at the University of California, San Diego, in 2024. During this time, he also received training in pain models at Boston Children’s Hospital. He obtained his Ph.D. from Florida State University in 2020 under the supervision of Prof. Hedi Mattoussi and Prof. Qing-Xiang Amy Sang. Before graduate school, Zhicheng earned his Bachelor’s degree from Lanzhou University and Texas Tech University in 2015. Dr. Jin’s research is highly multidisciplinary, spanning several fields of materials science and bioanalytical chemistry, and his team is eager to collaborate on projects broadly related to the bio-nano interface and human health.
