Ruoyu from Prof. Gangli Wang’s team will kick off our first joint meetings, held biweekly on Fridays in NSC 441 from 1:30 to 2:30 PM. We will brainstorm topics such as nanoparticles, polymers, ligands, energy, imaging, biosensing, and microscopy!

We welcome Ruby to join our team! She will be with us through the Spring 2025.

Dr. Zhicheng Jin was invited by Prof. Xing Yi Ling, the Editor of ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, to present at the 12th SICC in Singapore, where he spoke on the topic “Anisotropic Growth, Surface Functionalization, and Nanomedicine.” Many talented researchers and familiar faces were reconnected!

NSC 544 is up and running with LUX & M5000!  First color experiment launched! 🎨🎨🎨

It’s Doctor Day for our freeze dryer and vacuum pumps!  Leak patched, nozzles greased, oil changed, flange NW-barb swapped, and PVC tube fitted! We’re chemists, and we’re engineers! 🚑🚑🚑

Thanks to Prof. David Wilson for the Water Chiller! And we are spending hours on YouTube to set up the R-100 Rotovap! 🎉🎉🎉

Huge thanks to Mr. David Brown, his amazing team, and Ms. Susan Crawford for helping us move the biosafety cabinet and the -80°C freezer! NSC 544 has never looked better—teamwork really does make difference! 💪💪💪
