Current Members

Hi there, we are a multidisciplinary team of students and researchers trained in Chemistry, Materials Science, Veterinary Science, and Pharmacy.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB)

We aim to promote a multidisciplinary and inclusive atmosphere, regardless of people affiliation with specific demographic groups. We understand that a diverse team fosters creativity, innovation, and progress, and we are dedicated to ensuring that the next generation of scientists benefits from this approach.

Ph.D. Students

Zeyu Zhang is a phd student in the Chemistry Department at Georgia State University. He received his master’s degree in Veterinary from the Xinjiang Agriculture University in 2024, where he explored the mechanism of cleavage of host ISG molecules by Feline Calicivirus 3C-like protease under the guidance of Prof. Wei Zhang. At Georgia State, his research in the Jin group focuses on engineering molecular probes for advanced biosensing techniques.
