I started off this portrait with a black and white photo printed on regular printer paper and covered all parts of the photo with textures created from magazine cut outs. It took me about five hours to complete. I enjoyed this process, particularly bringing in the contrast between the grove tree background, where I used the cheetahs to bring in the texture of the tree and my person. Finding the checkered parts that i used for my face was crucial to bringing in the shadows I needed.
