So this was our first tour of the day 🙂 A boat came to pick us up. Originally, some of the classmates were worried whether water would wash into the boat (and so was I), but the boat ride was pretty short. Going through the water and feeling the breeze while sniffing the clean air felt so refreshing!
We arrived at the port to Gasparee Cave. Our tour guide, Allen, lead us to the cave while telling us the history and facts of the Gasparee Cave. However, in order to get the the Gasparee Cave, we had to hike up a few hills to reach the entrance of the Gasparee Cave. Allen opened up the cage door to the cave, and then we had to walk down a few flights of steep stairs. On our way down, we befriended a few bats, came into contact with some bat poop, and then finally saw the highlight of the cave trip, the water!!!!
The water was soooooo pretty! It was a clear, magical cerulean color. HOWEVER, Allen continued the tour, and we saw some really pretty cave shapes (organ, Audrey, Michael Jackson, the Lovers, etc.).
And then we went into the water!!!!!! I really liked it. I jumped off the rock and into the water. I swam and floated in it…. I LOVED THE WATER!!!!!
