This was made by cutting the paper in half and using that half to make the bracelet. The other half was shaped into a finger claw and a small strip was used to connect the two together. This was one of my most favorite pieces from this exhibition. The simplicity of this piece and how I was able to have it hold cash was very fulfillingThis was one of my favorite pieces. I enjoyed configuring each tiny piece to replicate a clock. The wearability of this is what makes it fun. I also enjoyed putting a bit of my personality into it with the spikes on the side. Easily my favorite piece. I created several small rings and 4 paper claws and contracted a piece inspired by Black Panther. His necklace if very iconic and replicating it was fun.
Wire to Line Creepy Crawly
Easily one of the hardest projects I had to complete. This was very first time using wire as a medium, and I have gained much respect for my fellow classmates for producing such beautiful pieces. I believe my vision was very creative but my execution could have used some work. I will definitely continue to use wire in the future and create pieces that I am proud of. This was supposed to be a pelican, grasshopper and butterfly hybrid.
