About Me
Hey! I’m so glad you could make it to my blog. My name is Victoria Lee Mulvey, and I have so much to share with you.
I was born on the morning of July 19th, 1996, just hours before the Atlanta Olympic opening ceremonies. Though I was born in Greer, South Carolina, I have spent most of my life growing up in beautiful Georgia. Being born on the day of one of Atlanta’s proudest moments makes me feel right at home here at Georgia State University, “located in the heart of Atlanta!”
I’m a sophomore music education major, and plan on teaching at the elementary to middle school level. I’m involved and interested in just about anything that has to do with music; it’s truly one of the best things that ‘s ever happened to me. I play flute in Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and every morning I perform singing concerts in the renowned venue known as My Shower. I march in the Panther Band during the fall, and play in Orchestra in the spring. As you can see, I’m extremely busy, but I love what I do so much, it’s not a big deal that most nights I only get four hours of sleep. I can’t wait to share my knowledge of music with others after I graduate; that’s the reason I get up out of bed every morning.
Other than being a total band geek, I enjoy cold weather, going to art museums and parks, makeup, cozy Goodwill sweaters, playing records on my record player, running, night walks on the beach, astrology (I don’t really believe in it, but it’s interesting to keep up with), and finding knew ways to be a complete hipster snob. Here’s a picture of me trying to be cool on the Beltline:
I hope you’ve enjoyed getting to know me, and I hope you continue to enjoy it along the way!
