2D Design Project 1 – Risk-Taking
Summary
This project explored how simple line drawings could be imaginatively repurposed through cutting/piecing (collage) to create new works.
4 simple line compositions were created during class; the only instruction was to draw 150 or more lines on each page and explore drawing different types of lines – wiggly, precise, jagged, sloppy, etc. The next step was to cut the drawings into 5 separate forms, and place any of the forms together to compose various collages that were pleasing to us.
