For the largest project in the course, the class wrote an analysis of the object that we chose individually for Project 2. The analysis combined an expansion of the initial object description; research about the history, culture, and people attached to the object (or a theme related to the object); and deduction or speculation about the unknown factors of the object. In the final submission of the project, we uploaded the finished analysis, the timeline for Project 4, and created a page to upload our 3D model from Project 2 to an exhibit page on Atlanta Artifacts.
After much research and dead ends, I discovered that my object was a ceramic flask. I used a culmination of my personal experience with this flask with research I did on the history of ceramics, the flask, and different art influences in order to complete this project. This was the most difficult of all the projects to complete, but I am excited to display the finished product. I was able to compile an interesting analysis despite the lack of information.
