The officers of TriBeta Biological Honors Society and the Biology Club shall be:
• President
• Vice-President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Public Relations
• Volunteer Coordinator
• Historian

Elections of the officers shall take place in April of each year. All executive board positions must be renewed through reelections every academic year. Every executive board member must be committed to the tenure of one academic year from the start of the fall semester to the end of the spring semester. At every election, an officer can be reelected to retain the same position or run for a different position.

• During elections, members are eligible to run for specific positions based on their membership level.
• Majority of the executive board members, such as President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Public Relations and Historian, must be TriBeta Regular or Associate members.
• The role of Volunteer Coordinator is open to all members, regardless of their membership level.
• Each candidate must have been an active member for a minimum of one semester.
• Any member of Tribeta, who is considered an active member, is eligible to run for any officer position, except for the position of President.
• In order to run for President, the member must have been an elected officer the previous year.
• If there is no current officer that can run for the presidency, then the Advisor(s) and the current chapter President would select candidates from the general membership to run for the position of President. There may be one or many candidates.
• The official term of the newly elected officer will begin in the summer before the start of the new academic year.
• The process of elections shall be:
• Officer applications are submitted by deadline established by the Executive Board.
• Membership status will be checked to verify the candidate is an official member.
• A ballot will be presented to the members.
• Voting will be take place on the ballot.
• Each member wishing to run for a position must give a 2-minute speech at the election which includes the following material:
• Their name
• The position they are running for
• Why they are interested in this position
• Why they are qualified for this position
• What they will do if elected to this position
• TriBeta members shall vote for both TriBeta and Biology Club candidates, while Biology Club members shall only vote for Biology Club candidates.
• Should a position become vacant during the academic year due to any emergency or impromptu circumstances, the following process will be followed:
• Notice will be given to the membership that there is an open position.
• A minor election will be conducted at a scheduled date, and the same election process will be repeated.
