The problem from paper waste

From the past thousand years, the problem of paper waste is always the concern of the whole society. With the developed country as America, this problem is always a serious and dangerous problem and it must be prevented to project the environment. Paper waste effect the trees, the water, the air, the energy, and the people. On average, “93% of paper comes from trees, but every tree produces enough oxygen for 3 people to breathe.” In United States, we use about one-third of the world’s paper (1). From American Library Association statistics website, there are 119,487 libraries in the U.S, including of 9,057 public libraries (2) While the technology and e-commercial currently develops rapidly, the traditional libraries still use paper books insufficiency. We can replace the paper books into e-books and change traditional library into e-library in Georgia. This solution will help reduce the paper waste and improve the library ‘services.
