Issues with MyMathLab/MyStatLab
MyLab Math/MyLab Stat Issues
If you are just getting started, you will need the Course ID given by your instructor. This will ONLY become available to you after taking the “Syllabus Quiz” and earning a 100% on it. After you get a 100% on the Syllabus Quiz, the Course ID will be located in iCollege. Click on “Content” then click on “MyLab Math Information”.
Already have your account set up but are having issues logging in or getting your course to open or function correctly?

Check our course announcements to make sure there isn’t some known technical issue with MyLab Math. If the system goes down, I try to post an announcement right away. If there is nothing there, go to https://status.pearson.com/s/#/MyMathLab/Last_24_hrs and click on MyLab Math to see if there is anything there besides green checkmarks. If something else is there, you will see a note from Pearson that they are working on a known issue.

If the system isn’t down and you are getting error messages when you try to use My Stat Lab/My Math Lab, restart your computer. This will fix it about 99% of the time.

If you try to sign in (and it has worked in the past), but is not working now, try this “alternate sign in” page at http://www.mathxl.com/login_mml.htm. Then sign in on that page. This is a different log in page and will sometimes fix the issue.
If the first three suggestions do not solve your problem, go to https://support.pearson.com/getsupport/s/contactsupport (Pearson/MyMathLab Tech Support). Click on “Start a Chat Session” to get live help with your issue. Use the options shown in the photo below to get the chat option – – –

(You can find some frequently asked questions here: https://support.pearson.com/getsupport/s/ and another option is to go to https://support.pearson.com/getsupport/s/contactsupport but the link above is the fastest way to get help.)
