MyLab Math has a new feature called “Connect to a Tutor”.

When you click on “Question Help” at the top right of a homework question, you should see things like “View an Example”, “Help Me Solve This”, and “Connect to a Tutor”.  By clicking on “Connect to a Tutor”, you will be connected with a real person online who can walk you through the question you are currently working on in the homework. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

Even if you’ve completed a homework assignment, but would like to go back and ask questions later, you can always go back into the homework and choose the “Connect to a Tutor”.  (For example, you might take a quiz and before you retake it the second time you may remember there was a similar homework question.  You could find that homework question, connect to a tutor, and have them help you.  You can also ask questions that are not in the homework assignment, or ask them to work through additional similar examples with you.)  You can also use this tutoring option within our Midterm Review and Final Exam Review since these are set up as homework assignments.
