My name is Terrell Green and I am a MAT Secondary Science student. My background is in biomedical and bioengineering so I took an alternative route into education. My bachelors degree is in biomedical engineering from Tulane University and my doctorate is in bioengineering from the University of California San Diego. After years of STEM research, I decided to make a career change. My entry point into education was through Teach For America and I have stayed on well beyond my two-year commitment :-).

I love San Diego too! I miss it every day I walk outdoors to Georgia weather. I’m taking your class to learn more and practice using the technological tools available to educators. It’s one thing to know these technologies exist, but it’s another to be forced to use them. For example, creating this blog has empowered me to finally create a web presence of my own. I hope to help teachers do the same for their students!
