The 8 Ways assignment challenged students to expand their imagination and creativity by using plain 2-dimensional printer paper and creating a 3-dimensional structure.
When the project was first explained, my immediate thought was a paper fan. This idea led me to challenge myself to keep my sculptures Japanese-inspired. I learned from this that you can do a lot with paper and a little imagination.
