Intro Studio

The assignment for this was to create a collaged public service announcement poster, that will encourage compassion. We needed to urge a specific audience to have compassion for a particular group.  The audience that I picked was teachers and administrators in the American school systems, The compassion is needed for Black Boys. In this poster I focused on one boy and allowed him to see himself in a happy learning environment, surrounding him with loving inspirational words and encouragement. There is an image of a concerned woman on the side it is an aspect of feminine maternal protection and concern. I have placed an earth near his head that represents global knowledge, the other sphere is futuristic advancements and achievements. I reference MOBB United and Optimistic Expectations because my interview was with a wonderful woman who inspired me and taught me so much about educational inequalities in the school systems of America.
