Auditions happen show by show throughout the year, typically in August, November, and January. Students, Faculty and Staff of GSU, community members, and professional actors are welcome and encouraged to audition for our shows. CALLBACKS are TUES, JAN 23 beginning at 6:00pm
Casting: 4F, 3M, plus Ensemble, all ages
All ethnicities and abilities are encouraged to audition. We welcome students, all GSU, and other community members to audition (there is no pay).
For the audition:
Prepare 16-32 bars from a pop song or pop musical. Upbeat preferred.
Optional: prepare a monologue from a published play, 1 minute max.
You will need to provide sheet music that is marked and in your key.
IF YOU NEED HELP PREPARING, an AUDITION WORKSHOP will be hosted by Drama Club Wednesday January 17th at 12pm.
