X Project

The X project

Medium: Prismacolor alcohol markers, Washy tape, Magazine scraps, Pink ribbon

This project allowed me a lot of creative freedom I felt very inspired by images in the magazines I’ve found as well as all the extra art supplies and scrap I found in my home. One of the main purpose of art is to continue to reinvent objects that we once thought served no purpose.These are all strong pieces separate but they are much stronger as a collection.Each X has its own color scheme complimentary, triad, and analogous. I am constantly drawn to the different shades of blue and purple and it is incorporated throughout each color scheme. I enjoyed trying the different techniques I never tried before it felt like an ongoing experiment of my creative liberties.
