Medium: White water color paper, Black construction paper

The way I interpret Notan was all about finding that sense of space and translating that into your artwork. Apart of this exercise was expanding the square in a symmetrical and asymmetrical manner. Finding the balance was the most important while working on this project not having that balance means you did not achieve notan.
