-Space was a great and fun project I worked on this week. I worked from a one- and two-point perspective. One-point perspective is like drawing a road that seems to go far away. Imagine yourself on a straight road that grows smaller and farther away. At some point, the road seems to meet all sides. The meeting point is known as the vanishing point. Two-point perspective is used to create three-dimensional images. Picture yourself standing in a corner with two sides of a building facing away from you. When viewed from two points on the horizon, these sides appear to meet at two different points. It’s like looking at a box from a corner with its sides pointing away from you. The materials I use for this project are ink, fine art pencils, and charcoal pencils.

-This is called one-point perspective.

-This is called two-point perspective.

-I ink-washed the one-point perspective drawing.

What did I learn? I learned how to draw things like simple scenes by making them look far away or close up. They both add a magical touch to your drawings by using unique lines that end at specific points. Working on this project felt like having superpowers. The goal I wanted to achieve in this project was the project itself. I always wanted to learn to draw the lovely scenery that was in front of me, not by looking at a drawing and simply copying it. I used to watch a lot of videos where people sat in front of a sea or in front of nature and drew it. When I actually did it on my own, I really enjoyed it, and I finally achieved my goal, not just in this project but also in life. One of my bucket list wishes is complete.
