-Value Additive was a fun project as well. First, I brought some waste items together. I had taken empty egg cartons and two cans. I got some more waste stuff from college. Then I created something random with those waste materials and sketched it. But I didn’t try to smudge the sketch or erase it from anywhere. Then I worked on a project called quiet drawing, where we can draw something that makes us feel quiet, so I decided to draw Gautam Buddha. In my house, we have a lot of Buddha’s statues and showpieces, so that’s why I thought of drawing one of them. Buddha is also known for peace, and whenever I look at Gautam Buddha, I feel super relaxed and stress-free. So that’s why I chose to draw this.

-This is the stretch I did after creating something random with those waste materials.

-This is an outline of my quiet drawing. I worked on a 19-by-12-inch sketch book before starting it on an 18-by-24-inch book.

-This is my final piece of quite drawing.

-What did I learn? I learned how to work on something without messing it up. Charcoal gets super messy, and it is really hard to not smudge it.
