Greetings and welcome to home page for the 2019 Collective Health, Race and Culture in Brazil student blog page. Over the course of the next three weeks 14 amazing students from Georgia State University will engage, explore and reflect on an academic and cultural study program in Salvador Bahia, Brazil. Please come here to read and see, through photos and videos, the lessons (both academic and life-changing) that our students will experience learning more about the impact of socio-political, cultural and historical events on population health in Bahia.
This will be the 5th year that Dr. Christine Stauber has led this program. Dr. Stauber is a passionate educator who takes her students learning experiences very seriously. Each year has been amazing and we do not expect anything less for 2019.
We look forward to seeing some comments from you as friends, family and instructors.
