“A Never-Ending Nightmare”
April 22, 2020
This short film is based on a dream project where I had to sketch out a particular dream in storyboard form, and then turn it into a movie. I decided to base my movie on a dream that I had when my mother and I were being chased by a stalking murderer. I began my process by writing down each scene so it could be easier and quicker for me to sketch it out. Next, I then sketched out each scene on square sheets of paper with a pencil and also used a crow quill pen. After I finished, I then scanned them into images so I could import them on Microsoft PowerPoint. Once I was done editing, I exported the presentation as a video.
this is actually really cool! i love that you did tons of zooms effects to the make the animation really “pop”, not to mention the sound effects make it so much more suspenseful! it seems as if its a thriller. really love the effort you put in this!
Thank you!
The sound effects really get me too Alexis–the fire in the house, the scary sounds. I especially like how the sound supports the movement, the pace of the narrative.
Thank you!
Your use of sounds effects and zoom in out with shapes really draws the audience into the film. Especially the thriller sounds..really gave me the chills while watching! I love your film!
omg i love your drawings , i really enjoyed working with you this year .
