Stephen McCluskey, Bass-Baritone, is a senior vocal performance major at Georgia State University in the studio of Richard Clement. His roles with GSU Opera Theater include: Bhaer in Little Women, Thomas Putnam in The Crucible, Don Bartolo in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, and others in Amahl and the Night Visitors, Le Nozze di Figaro, and Werther. This summer, he performed the title role in Harrower Opera Workshop’s production of Don Giovanni. As a concert soloist, Mr. McCluskey has performed The Messiah, Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem, Dubois’ Seven Last Words of Christ, and Faure’s Requiem. Mr. McCluskey has frequented the Georgia NATS competition Winner’s Circle and is on staff at Peachtree Presbyterian Church.
