Finally, I looked at the weekly tab. This tab consist of events around Atlanta that pretty much happens every week. It mainly consist of special deals that restaurants have throughout the day. I will probably be using this so that I can save money whenever I go out to eat out with friends and family.

There was another tab on the website that caught my attention: food & drinks. This link lead me to a page that had a list of events at restaurants around Atlanta. I was actually surprised by this because I thought it would just list restaurants that people should try in Atlanta. Regardless, it’s nice to see events that I can enjoy while I’m eating at a restaurant.

As I continued to explore the website, I decided to click on the festival tab to see what else is going on in Atlanta. The link led me to this page and showed all the festivals that will be happening in the next month or so. It mainly consisted of music festivals, film festivals, and food festivals.

As I said before, I clicked on the detail link for this Shaky Knees Festival to see what it was all about. The link gave me details on the date, place, cost, and who is going to perform at the concert. There was also additional information on what they offer if you buy the ticket. A buyer will get a wristband, get to see an art market, provided a free water stations, and more.

As soon as I typed in the atlantabuzz website, this was the home page. I was immediately grasped by the content because it advertised a music festival. This page made me want to click the details of the event (which I did) and possibly buy tickets to it. This page also has a menu break down with festivals, concerts, food & drinks, and other content.

These two art pieces are from unknown artist. They both represent what MLK was fighting for. Both have different shackles and other types of equipment that slave owners used on their slaves. These pieces are a reminder of the beginning of blacks’ struggles. Blacks have come so far from the slavery to the civil rights movement and now the present day.

As soon as I walked into the MLK Museum building, there were various pictures and banisters of Dr. King and his wife. Most of the posters had quotes that the couple had said throughout their life along with some of their accomplishments. They all show the fight that they put into civil rights movement for all people. It also shows different events (speeches or helping the community) that they participate in throughout their lives as well.

The entrance to Braves’ Stadium shows the motto of the Braves: “This is Braves Country”. Millions of people flow in and out of these gates a season. Many seasons will be remembered here along with many players as well. This 20 year old stadium is entering into its final season and will surely be miss.

Turner Field takes pride in the team’s accomplishments over the years. They display every year that the Braves made it to the playoffs. They have each flag color separated from when they just made it due to the wild card, won the division, won the NLC (National League Championship), and the World Series.

Before Turner Field, there was another stadium called the Atlanta Fulton County Stadium. This was located right across the street from Turner Field but is now just the parking lot for Turner Field. However, not everything was torn down as this was the exact spot that Hank Aaron would break Babe Ruth’s record for most home runs hit in someone’s career. The Braves organization was able to keep the fence that he hit his home run over. Now it is used as just a memorabilia for people to always know that we once had a home run king right here in Atlanta.
