Before Turner Field, there was another stadium called the Atlanta Fulton County Stadium. This was located right across the street from Turner Field but is now just the parking lot for Turner Field. However, not everything was torn down as this was the exact spot that Hank Aaron would break Babe Ruth’s record for most home runs hit in someone’s career. The Braves organization was able to keep the fence that he hit his home run over. Now it is used as just a memorabilia for people to always know that we once had a home run king right here in Atlanta.
