Field Notes (Interior)

See: There are plenty of paintings from artist that describe their feelings on slavery and segregation. Photos and writings are displayed of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, Coretta Scott King, Gandhi, and Rosa Parks. These paintings and writings explained their life growing up and how their hard work and dedication continues to influence people today.

Hear: There are a couple of recordings going on in the museum. There is a recording of the MLK Day Ceremony along with his ‘I Have a Dream’ speech.

Smell: N/A

Touch: Most objects were in glass containers so I could not really touch them. However some art pieces were out and they just felt like normal paintings. A couple pictures had equipment that they used on slaves like shackles that I was able to feel.

Taste: N/A
