Be aware that SPAN 1001 usually will not fulfill a foreign language requirement for
your program of study.  If you have not taken Spanish before or had experience with the language, you will need 1001.  However, if you have experience with the language, you may see if you qualify to be placed in a level higher than 1001 (not for credit, just for exemption) into a higher level.  If you are interested in obtaining the credit for any levels that you do exempt, please ask the Testing Center about the Spanish CLEP exam.

Take a screenshot or picture of your results page (or copy and paste that information).   Ultimately, the choice is yours.  You will need to then email either your instructor OR Rick Robinson (rrobinson28@gsu.edu). Call 678-891-3602 w/questions/concerns.  Include your name, GSU ID and the CRN of the class that you wish to take.  Alternatively, you  bring the printout in person to any Spanish instructor to discuss placement if you would like to receive advising prior to placement.
