Stephanie Langston teaches Spanish at  Perimeter College both face-to-face at the Newton campus and online.  She leads Spanish instructor technology trainings at PC and was the first PC Spanish Instructor to teach online.  She also taught for the Georgia Institute of Technology and Oxford College of Emory University.  She is frequently invited by universities across the country to advise them on the best practices for teaching online and the most useful technologies. She is the recipient of the Perimeter College Excellence in Service Award and the Global Engagement Award.

She studied at the University of Salamanca in Spain and the Forrester Language Institute in Costa Rica. 
She has traveled to 53 countries, including many Spanish-speaking countries, and has spent much time in Colombia, having adopted two children from there.

Stephanie is the President, Curriculum Director and Lead Instructor of Hands on Spanish, Inc. (www.handsonspanish.com).  Her company’s programs include “Pharmacy Spanish” (approved for 12 hours of ACPE credit), “Spanish for Nurses” (20 hours of ANCC credit), and “Spanish for the Courts.” The programs are offered online at www.handsonspanish.com in multi-media format. She has served as a content expert for many Spanish education projects and has served as video talent for such programs.

She also led the development of 200 hours of Spanish curriculum customized for the Immigration and Customs Enforcements Agents of the Department of Homeland Security.

 She has developed curriculum for the Institute for Continuing Judicial Education, the Georgia Center at the University of Georgia, the College of Pharmacy at the University of Georgia, the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists, and the Florida College of Advanced Judicial studies, among other organizations.

She lives in Monroe, GA with her husband, Chris, her son, Emery, and her daughter, Maya.  They are active in their church and are avid travelers. She also enjoys swimming, biking, singing, dancing, playing the piano and playing tennis.
