Inspiration/Reflection: To take items nostalgic in African American tradition, reimagined as couture. Hand tied and beaded to create a textile shaped into a gown.

Inspiration/ Reflection: To take items Nostalgic and synonymous with Modern African American culture and give it the antiquity it will never have by bathing it in natural elements, returning them to a new indigenous space.
