The image was taken January 31, 2017. I chose this photo because I wanted to showcase how much Grady Health System has a huge impact on the city of Atlanta. My feelings overall about taking this photo is sympathy, because almost everyday I visit Grady and I encounter numerous people who are either patients or family members of the patients. What’s in the photo is half of the enormous building called Grady Health System. Patients, employees, medical providers, and visitors are walking in and out of Grady. There are cars parked in the front, they are either waiting on someone or dropping them off. The things in the photo reveal about my community is that Grady is the backbone of Atlanta and Atlanta cannot live without Grady. The history behind Grady is that it is over a hundred years old, known as a teaching hospital with guidelines to serving the health demands for patients, and it’s the largest public hospital in the Southeast. I would share the photo on a well-known website or blog to let people know how important Grady is to people who are in need for care and to disregard all the negative stereotypes about Grady Health System.
