Creative Problem Solving

To create meaningful innovations, you need to know your users and care about their lives. In Design Thinking, this is called empathizing and it is achieved in two main procedures: observing and interviewing.

So the next step is to think about who and/or what might serve as inspiration for this challenge? Where or who can you observe to gain empathy?

  • Uncover needs that people have
  • Guide innovation efforts
  • Identify the right users to design for
  • Discover the emotions that guide behaviors

Activity:
Both procedures are useful tools but for this course you only have to complete one. Choose the activity that you think is best suited for your challenge and complete the cooresponding activity in your workbook.
