Course 3 Introduction

Leading The Change

Getting Started

What: Now that you have tested your idea it’s time to share this information to people in a way that can inspire change.

When:This course will require 2-5 hours. However, this module will continue to be available as additional modules are released. You can proceed through the assignments at your own pace as an individual or in a group.

Where: Online.

How: Each section of the course contains topical information, activity instructions, and related resources. To receive credit for completing the mini-course you will need to create a pitch presentation and upload it when you complete the Evaluation Survey at the end of the mini-course.

At the beginning of this process you started out by identifying a problem in your workplace. You have since investigated possible solutions and tested the solution’s effectiveness. Once you have iterated a solution that can successfully address the problem, it’s time to share the news. This can be harder than it sounds. Depending on the type of problem you’re trying to solve and the people who will be impacted by the solution you’ll have to do some convincing to get people on board.

In this final mini course we will take a look at some basics of driving change and focus on creating a  pitch that you can use to share your idea to those whose support you are trying to gain.
