The Planning Committee is hosting a Toiletry Drive during the conference. We are collecting toiletries to benefit two organizations: Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV) and International Rescue Committee (IRC).
For each toiletry item you donate, we will reimburse $1 of your conference registration fee, up to $5. Please consider donating to support these wonderful organizations. You may bring your items to the registration table during the conference.
PADV is the largest nonprofit domestic violence organization in Georgia. PADV has two 24-hour emergency shelters which serve battered women and their children in metro Atlanta. PADV serves 150 clients daily and is in need of the following items:
- Feminine hygiene products
- Toothbrushes
- Full-sized shampoos & conditioners
- Full-sized deodorants
- Full-sized toothpastes
- Combs & brushes
- Baby wipes
The IRC is a refugee resettlement organization serving the largest refugee community in Georgia. The IRC is often the first point of contact for many refugees in Georgia and they provide resettlement services for many years to follow. The IRC is in need of the following items:
- Feminine hygiene products (pads, specifically)
- Toothbrushes
- Shampoos &Conditioners
- Deodorants
- Toothpastes
- Combs & Brushes
- Diapers &Baby wipes
