I chose to create my meme based on how I feel about being single right now. I feel like the internet provides many of memes about living a positive life, relationships, friendships and numerous of other topics. I do feel like some memes can be considered art depending on what content was used and how it was used and also how it is perceived by the viewer. I do consider some memes as a form of art depending on how it appeals to me. I feel like anything can be a form of art, but for me, in order for me to view it as art it has to be something close to how I’m feeling and thinking at the time. The meme that I created isn’t that humorous to me like other memes but I feel like it a positive, self-loving, independent meme and that’s what I’m focusing on in life right now.
This seems to come from the same place as your truism – the optimism to rely on oneself and to push through difficult experiences. That’s a really hard thing to do but it sounds like you have a really positive spin on things. That will help keep you hopeful. 🙂
