I’m a student at Georgia State University diving headfirst into the captivating world of Biomedical Science and Enterprise. I know, it’s quite an unexpected combination, right? But let me tell you how I ended up on this intriguing path. Being a naturally inquisitive soul, I’ve always wanted to learn the behind-scene workings of our world. And what better way to quench that thirst than to learn about the molecular underpinnings of medicine? But what truly sealed the deal for me was witnessing firsthand how scientific discoveries have the power to save lives.

My curiosity has led me on an exhilarating journey of scientific exploration. I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with not just one, but three brilliant principal investigators. Together, we’ve learned about the mechanisms that allow gonorrhea to combat nutritional defenses, deciphered the intricate pathways of cell death in crithidia fasciculate, and even probed into the enigmatic role of olfaction in love or monogamy—however you prefer to see it.

As I continue to delve further into the field of knowledge, my aims remain clear: to make significant contributions to the scientific community and to seek a Ph.D., which will allow me to uncover more exciting discoveries.
