This sign talks about how this is the Centennial Olympic Park area. As I stated in a previous post, Philips Arena is right by Centennial Olympic Park. Centennial Olympic Park hosted The Olympics took place in Atlanta in 1996. This was the first time the Olympics were held in Atlanta, so Centennial Olympic Park is sacred to Atlanta.
