This is a drawing of a fishing lure that I had in my tackle box. For me fishing has always been something that I have enjoyed as a kid, I started fishing at the age of five years old on lake Oconee. This is a artificial version of a sliver minnow which is a small bait fish that is used for catching the bigger predator fish, it weights about 2 ounces and is made out of a plastic/nylon material black on the top and fades to white towards the bottom. For this project I chose to use graphite as my medium to capture the color transfer from light to darkness on the object. To me fishing represents quiet because on the lake the only thing you hear is the movement of the water.
