We developed Almanac Archive with PHP and MYSQL.

PHP is a language that is particularly intended for web programming with the built-in integration with most famous open source database MySQL.

Simple to begin with: As an amateur it is anything but difficult to begin with PHP. The client simply need to include a couple of PHP-tags. Dynamic typing and associative arrays makes it easier and less demanding to begin utilizing PHP.

Simple to utilize: Compared to most solutions like e.g. Java, PHP doesn’t have to be complied, so its just writing the script and afterward upload it to the server and after that update the browser.

Integrated database support: PHP has (basically) built-in support for the most well known databases like e.g. MySQL, that implies it is anything but difficult to begin utilizing databases, no extra drivers needs to be installed, just to utilize the mysql-functions. The simple to utilize online admin tool PHPMyAdmin (discharged 1998) is likewise imperative to the PHP’s achievement in mix with MySQL.

Old language (since 1995) with a big user base: PHP got to be mainstream mid (1995) since it was intended for web programming. From that point forward the user base has developed and now there is numerous web-oriented frameworks and libraries accessible. A few cases are blogg-frameworks and e-shopping-platforms.

Cheap hosting: Since PHP has existed for long time and works great on both Linux and Windows, and numerous webservers have support for it. There is no issue to discover facilitating with PHP preinstalled.
