Hello All,
Welcome to Georgia State University’s Residence Hall Association Page. Georgia State University is a school like no other. Built in 1913, located in the heart of the city, Atlanta. As a non-traditional school, RHA strives to be equivalent in helping students break the status quo, setting new traditions and having an active role in our community to give back.
What is Residence Hall Association (RHA) ?
RHA is a recognized and influential organization on campus. We as RHA strive to challenge ourselves and others to break traditions set before us, create our legacy and develop others along the way.
RHA advocates for the residents by listening and responding to students concerns, representing the students voice while bringing awareness and unifying the student body by gathering effective feedback, building relationships, and challenging the status quo. We value the students voice, community service, and setting new traditions. RHA provides a unified point of communication and representation between residential students, providing means for improvements in the residential halls, and promoting and presenting educational and fun programs for all students living in the residence halls on campus.
We ensure our programs will help unify our community, by inspiring residents to maximize their potential through educational, social and community service programs that contribute to the college experience.
Likewise, our community councils will serve as an extension of RHA. Building leadership skills while advocating and influencing through service in their respective residential communities community councils will embody the values of RHA.
