Still Life

Summary

The five objects are meant to represent myself. I chose the sewing machine because sewing something I am very passionate about and have been doing for most of my life. The zebra on top of the sewing machine is a wooden figure that I bought while in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania over the summer. I added the camera because photography used to be something I took very seriously. The plushie is of the Sanrio character Kuromi and was a gift from my best friend - she and I like to compare ourselves to Kuromi and her best friend, My Melody. The shoe is one of my Vans that I could explain the significance of for hours on end.

A black and white charcoal drawing of a sewing machine surrounded by a small wooden figureine of a zebra, a single black sneaker, a camera, and a plushie.
