Membership in the organization is only to be granted to current Georgia State University undergraduate or graduate student or current faculty members. The organization will not discriminate on the basis of age, color, gender, gender identity, disability status, height, marital status, national origin, political persuasion, race, religion, sexual orientation, veteran status, or weight.
A person is only considered a member of the GSU Pre-Professional Society after paying membership dues of 15 dollars for new members and 10 dollars for returning members and fulfilling the membership requirement. A person must attend at least three meetings, group trips or volunteer events each semester in order to be considered a Pre-Pharmacy Professional Society member. Attendance is to be recorded by the administrator at every meeting, trip or volunteer event. A person does not have to be a science major or a pre-pharmacy student to join Pre-Pharmacy Professional Society.
PPPS will distribute t-shirts or other paraphernalia to members who have paid dues, but will be given out on a first come, first served basis.
