Hannah is a speech therapist in Southern California and a poet. Her previous work experience includes time as a medical scribe at The Pediatric Center of Stone Mountain and a Tour Actor/Director with Missoula Children’s Theatre, as well as work as a carpenter and assistant stage manager in Atlanta-area theatres. After graduating from GSU PC with her AA in Theatre, she went on to earn a BA in Theatre at Columbus State University, and an MS in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Arizona. Her poetry has been published by Poetry Atlanta Press and Read or Green Books.
In the Perimeter College Fine Arts Department, I learned my first lessons on professionalism, flexibility, and collaboration. Small class sizes, hands-on learning, and guest artists from the community provided me with opportunities to explore and excel. Sally Robertson, Jennifer Jenkins, and other faculty members provided encouragement and kindness, along with high expectations and room to challenge myself.
